Hi, I work as an RN. You might think that isn't a scanner career, but, each and every person is soooo differant. Also there are many fields within the nursing arena. I have worked in a PRN pool, working on every floor in the hospital, on an ortho-neuro unit, with sick infants in a neonatal unit, with well babies and their mothers, and now I am in a nursing home for veterans, and loving it. It is my good enough job. I only work half-time, and have been part time most of my career because \"I have a full-time life\". Yes, I have defended my work choices often. I got an Associate's degree in nursing many years ago because I couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now, maybe I'll look into being a librarian next!!!!
Life is too short to take seriously.
