Where to hek is everyone....just found this site after JUST getting the book and feel so elated that it's not just me...I am so happy to be labeled...so happy to read the postings..so wishing that there were a bunch of scanners here in Charlotte NC to meet up with...any ideas or input...anyone from Charlotte?
Looking forward to hearing and learning.

  I LOVE being a scanner. I could use a bit more sleep, however, but who has time for sleep!

Hello everybody...
I am off work on disability and am driving myself crazy with all the projects I want to do
once I am able to move around comfortably. Has anyone seen etsy.com?
So many people (!) with creative projects they are offering for sale.
It is encouraging to see you can make a go of it and i have no problem
starting with some of my own. Being a scanner can be tiring, though. All the
energy and fever happening when you are jacked into the creative flow
(sorry, I've been rereading William Gibson's stuff--sci fi author who did
early writing about life in cyberspace). What it is is that scanners have a capacity to
be a part of the flow, without being woo-woo and mystical about it, of energy that
is boundlessly, urgently, creative. :!: I don't know, but it feels like such
an incredible way of life I can't imagine anything else. Without sounding arrogant,
I believe scanners could be the ones in this world that push it forward.
There are more of us than we know and realize. Cramming us into a "make up your mind
and settle on one thing for the rest of your life" mindset stalls progress and gums up the works.
Without scanner vibrancy and spark, the world starts to slow down in its revolutions, pun intended.
I LOVE Second Life! Go there and go nuts. It is an escape valve, sometimes, when you get too overheated.

Yep, I like being a scanner. Once you learn to roll with it, it's all good.
